The Festival theme is "Marvelous
flowers”.
The central figure
of composition must a blossoming plant. Surrounding the centerpiece with
fairytale characters and other figures is recommended.
Application
Each carver fills
out an application form and attaches sculpture sketch of for the selection
process to begin.
Applications for
participation and Sketches submittal
deadline is March 20, 2014. Sketch should have a description in either Russian
or English language.

Application for
participation and sketch should be sent no later than March 20th to lukomorje2012@mail.ru with a subject line
<Lukomorje-2014, application, name>. A copy of the application at lukomor546554@mail.ru .
Materials
Each carver is
provided with a round pine wood log 60 to 90 cm (24-35 in) in diameter and 400
cm (160 in) long.
If additional
materials (i.e. thin wood, sawn timber, metalwork, etc.) or equipment needed,
the carver should inform the festival organizer in application form.
Requirements for
the sculpture
- A single
sculpture or a comprehensive composition fitting the site sized from 4x4 to 6x6
m.
- Sculpture design
as a street light/lamppost is allowed.
- Fine details
earn extra points with the judges.
- Painting and
burning on sculptures is not allowed.
The team consists of 1-2
people invited by the organizer, according to the results of competition of
their sketch and portfolio.
Accommodations and
meals to
participants are provided by the organizer.
Travel to and from competition within
Russia by train is paid by the organizers. Airfare should be discussed in
advance and could be covered only if agreement with organizer is reached.
Bonuses and prizes
- 1st place - 110
000 rubles and certificate.
- 2nd place – 70
000 rubles and certificate.
- 3rd place – 50
000 rubles and certificate.

"Lukomorje” children's holiday camp.
- Diploma Award
"The choice of festival participating captains teams".
- Special prize
from child’s jury.
- Bonuses, special
prizes, souvenirs from partners and sponsors of the festival.
Visa support
The organizer
provides foreign participants with an electronic copy of invitation letter and
voucher for accommodations required to secure a tourist visa.
Foreign
participants are responsible for any fees associated with the acquirement of
entry visa and communicate with the Russian embassies or consulates in their
country themselves.
